Dress advice needed!!...
I have a christmas party tomorrow. Most will go casual, although we're also hitting a casino, but X-mas parties here tend to be casual affairs. However I prefer to dress smart/smart casual. So guys, you decide. Its either a suit, overcoat with open neck shirt (cuff links, etc) or rugby shirt, cas shoes, denims and cas jacket.
Aftershave will be either Gucci (if smart cas)
or Jean Claude (sp'ing) or Hugo if casual.

What will you be wearing UNDER the suit?
You know they say that underwear maketh the man

Btw, my partner will be wearing a smart dress, she's 24 and I'm 39 (so don't want to look like the older guy either)!

You can never OVERdress for a party! A suit says "I'm here, although I can't stay long 'cuase the World is waiting for my well dressed self to arrive" Gotta go. MJ

IF you don't want to look like the older guy...drop the suit..in favour of an open necked formal shirt.

But really... a male thong underneath will make you feel a hundred times more sexy.
It works for me

Definitely a suit with an open neck shirt, especially if you're going to a casino.
Way better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed.

always be the best dressed without overstating.. try a white tee under a cashmire crew neck sweeter , kaki pants, and dress shoes.. this will keep you more in line with a "younger" look.. drop the cuff links.

the shirt is too casual for me.. but it could work.. i wear polo, or slechenger (sp) shirts.. This time of year you need to dress a little warmer.. I still stand by my suggestion.. that shirt says "frat boy" if that's the look you want.. you will succeed..

always wear a jacket. you can take it off after you get there if need be. No tie needed. Long sleeve shirt, either collared or not (maybe a solid). No cuff links.
peace,

Thanks guys. Called the girl last night, she said she thinks suits are "sexy", good enough for me. I'll be suited, booted and Gucci'd!.
