What type of Music when Lifting?
I think music is a huge part of my lifting. It kinda puts me in my own world when I'm lifting. I normally listen to hip hop in and out of the gym, but recently I began listening to heavy metal such as Pantera. I've never listened to it much before, but it definitely gets me goin and helps me pump out those last few reps. What bands and type of music do you guys like to listen to when lifting?

Yeah it has Bouncer but I'll indulge.......i just like listening to my disgustingly hard rock and think about my ex g/f and the negative things she used to say to me.

My fault on the question, after I posted it I saw a thread similar at the bottom, but was from 02. Anyway, I def feel you on the ex g/f thing. Has the same affect as the hardcore music.

um, i dont listen to music when i lift cause i lift with a partner, but when i do my cardio in the spring, i listen to anything from at the drive in, H.I.M., 50 - cent, State Property, and the list goes on and on. pretty much ill listen to anything but country. just all depends on the mood. and when i lift im always calm and cool, never all yelling and that ish that dont help you push the weight

E. Power Biggs is perfect. Great music to zone out to. Nothing like a fugue to help push a few extra pounds up . . .
