    Sleeping after eating??

Any of you guys/gals, help me with this question...I know they don't recommend sleeping on a full stomach due to lack of activity and such...but what abouy like after cardio...I usually come home very tired...eat my 8 egg whites, 1 cup of oatmeal, and then pass back out....since it's low in fat, do you think that it wont be such a bad idea?...PS....I work in EMS and am on call all the time...that's why I can come back and crash in the morning...and not go to a 9-5...lol...thanks in advance...alphamedic

Strange, after my bout of cardio (I am assuming you all mean a.m. first thing), I'm amped as hell the rest of the day.

Well, I might be as well, but I can't get to sleep very early at night....so I sleep for 4 hrs or so...get up and do cardio...and then inish my sleep

Yea I am the same way with being wired all day.... something about doing morning cardio energizes me for the rest of the day.

You'll be fine waking up, cardio, then eating and sleeping. No effect on fat levels at all, as long as you are in a calorie deficit for the day.

Well, that's not really a viable answer, so no you don't have "your answer".

If you get up, do cardio, then go back to sleep............well, you need to ingest some kind of quick digesting protein (and maybe oats or some other slow buring carb if that's on your agenda).

Going back to sleep for hours on end after doing cardio is really not too wise in the catabolsm department. Don't forget about that.........
