to cook or not to cook.... that is the question
I have been eating very clean for three years now but i am getting to the point where i cannot stomach eggs in any form worth a $hit. I have recently started just drinking about 12 raw egg whites and some yolks every day for the added protein. does cooking the eggs affect the nutritional make up of the eggs and is it ok to eat them this way? BTW i understand there is always a chance of getting sick (sallamanilla (sp?)) from raw eggs but i have been doing it for a while and have yet to get sick.
thanks

I think you can only absorb 50% of the protein in egg when they are raw

If you wish to drink raw eggs, at least buy them pastuerized.
I've had salmonella before and almost died in the hospital.
Trust me, you want to avoid that.

"According to a study found by John Berardi, the body can only utilize about half of the protein found in raw egg products. So not only are you risking getting sick, you’re wasting your money. Lesson: Cook your eggs!"
