Soy Sauce and PPWO
Hi guys.
I just downed my PPWO meal. I actually hit up a chinese spot and purchased some steamed brown rice (about 70-75 grams worth) and some steamed chicken and shrimp (about 50-55 grams worth). I drizzled some soy sauce/scallion mixture on the chicken/shrimp and brown rice--I think the soy sauce may actually have some corn syrup (not high-fructose, though), though. Will that soy sauce hurt the effect of my PPWO meal?
Thanks guys.

Not regular soy sauce, but you don't want sugary crap in it, as you already utilized that in dextrose in your first pwo offering. (ideally)

Would the salt from it affect you much?

Well, for me salt is really no concern unless it's pre-contest or prepping for pics.
I love my pwo chicken terriyaki/rice!!!!!

As for your corn syrup part of the question-- you are probably thinking of oyster sauce which is sweetened, but soy is not.

Sodium is fine IF you drink enough 1-2 gallon (depending on weight) of water...
