Difference in Whey Isolate vs. Concentrate?
From what I understand the difference between Isolate and Concentrate is digestibility, does anybody notice a difference in their body when using a whey isolate vs. concentrate protein? I recently ordered from allthewhey and got isolate protein, just started taking it a couple days ago---I'm wondering if theres a difference in that versus my normal optimum nutrition 100% whey protein?

as far as i remember both ON and ATW are isolate
the only difference between conc and isolate
is
Conc=60-70% protein (with some fat &carbs)
isolate=90%(with 1g fat&1 gram carbs)
the only thing that would affect digestibility is the fat and carbs in the concentrate
stick to isolate.....

ironfreak is right. Isolate is just filtered a bit more to remove almost all fat and lactose and have around 90% protein.
concentrate can have anything from 70-80% protein and 5-10% carbs and fat.
I say stick with concentrate unless your lactose intolerante or rich then isolate is the better option. But as fat as muscle building go they are equal(unless like I said you are lactose intolerante).

Because it is not as filtered as much whey concentrate has more lactose in it so be careful if you are lactose intolerant. Thats why so many people who are too cheap/broke to get the isolate are so friggen gassy, it's likely from the lactose.
