    pro/carb shake after cardio?

    hey wats up guys i was wondering if it is ok to have a protein shake with water and oats 45 mins after i do cardio....im on a ecy stack right now and it supresses my appetite pretty well in the morning so i was wondering if this is ok thanks guys....

    I'd always advise a whole food meal but I know what the EC stack can wreek havoc on the appitite so this would be ok as long as you are not too dependant upon shakes for the rest of the day.

    Maybe you can cut the protein intake for this meal 50/50.

    Lets just say(for conversation sake) that you require 40g of protein for this meal. You can do somethiing like:

    1 scoop whey(shake) which usually equals about 25g
    5 egg whites which equals about 15g

    5 whites is not that much food to consume. I agree with Giantz that it would be optimal for you to consume as much food as you can stomach for meal 1. This will ensure a slow digestion rate of ehat you are taking in.
