    Whey?? Getting my diet in check

    I am gettin my diet in check prob for the fist time. Wish i would have done this along time ago. But i read in alot of diets that it says Whey Protein. and then it will also say Protein shake in the same diet. So is there a difference between WHEY PROTEIN and PROTEIN SHAKE??

    no, whey is the best form of protein to use when supplementing with a shake

    sorry dont really understand that so whey is like a pure protein?

    of all the protein powders available for supplementation it has the highest bioavailability (hope thats the word im looking for) which means your body uses more of it.

    So when a diet says whey and protein shake they are the same thing? Just a good whey protein

    whey is the fasted protein to digest and so is great for PWO

    you can also get protein blends which mix whey with casein so you get a fast and slow acting pro in the same shake
