Starting to cut that flesh
JUST WONDERING HOW YOU ALL DIET/CUT...what do you do with regard to daily calorific intake, AM Cardio, Traing schedule, supplements, sample food plans e.t.c, how long you take..
I like to take things nice and slow to prevent muslce loss so id take say 20 weeks..For me i usually drop to 2500-3000kcal daily from 5000kcal(bulking) with AM cardio 3-4 times a week for 45 min..I try and base all carbs around breakfast,,3hours pre training and up to two and a half after training.
I eat really clean..(oats, rice, tuna , skinless chicken breasts, vegtables, nuts n seeds, fruit)
PLenty of water up to 4 litres daily
Supplement wise:-
Fat burner or ECA stack to cut hunger cravings:-On workout days i take in the morning only before AM cardio and none after that..on non triaing days i take it in morning before AM cardio and 6 hours later..It really keeps hunger at bay..
Essential Fatty Acids:-Usually get most of mine from nuts and seeds e,t,c but i will often take flex capsualed or oil.
Glutamine:-Before trainig,,After Traninig,, and before bed..
Protein powder:-Only use it for post workout with dextrose powder ,never use it for a meal unless im desperate.if i do use it as ameal i put blended oats in.
Creatine:- 5 grams takin twice daily morning and post workout to give me that boost
Multivitamin:-to account for any missing minerals, vitamins e.t.c that may not be in the foods im eating

We all practice the same dieting techniques (at least for the most part)...Funny thing is most outsiders assume there is some hidden secret to getting "cut" or "they have to be on juice."
However, the fact remains few people are willing to put in the hard work and make the sacrifices we make for our bodies.
Ok, sorry for getting off track...I'd say at least 75% of the members on this board follow the nutrition habits BigPhil mentioned above.
Can't think of much more to add to the above list at this time.

I ditch all medium and high gi foods and rely on lentils, beans, brown rice as my carb sources.
I start to cram down more seeds than is humanly possible.
I bump up all the supplements especialy vitamin c and the b vitamins.
I drop fat to around 50-80grams/day and carbs to 50-150g/Day
Protein I try to keep above 300g
I tweak diet so I get atleat 50% of the fat from olive oil
thats about it I guess.

As far as dosing goes, I would consume 1 gram in the A.M. on an empty stomach before morning cardio (if you do A.M. cardio). Take another 1 gram at night before your last pro / fat meal.

For me, there's something about broccoli and spinach that helps me cut. I'll go through a bag of spinach and 2 heads of broccoli a day. Can't stand chicken anymore- I eat a ton of fishies instead. Everything else is about the same as BigPhil, except my caloric intake is lower.
2 weeks to completion, I'll begin applying cutter spray and wrap my core in plastic-wrap.Last edited by Destructo; 12-10-2005 at 04:06 PM.

watch dairy? aint nothing wrong with some cottage cheese and some roasted natural almonds for your last meal of the day bro. limit fat? more like limit carbs...fats are pretty essential when cutting...fats from cottage cheese (which is a source of CLA), fats from almonds, fats from flax seed oil, and fats from natural peanut butter are all good for cutting. but i gotta agree with ya on eating the green carbs. and watching the sugar.
