1 Year Til Contest... Critique Please!
Alright guys... this is where I'm at right now. I've got exactly one year until the bodybuilding show at my college that I want to enter, plenty of time. I was thinking about doing it this year but I want to get bigger. The guys in the short class that I will be in only weighed in between 165-175 so if I get up to 215 or so and cut down to 190 I should be a monster on-stage compared to them. CRITIQUE PLEASE. I know my calves suck ass. What else? Seriously, don't tell me I look good... tell me I look like $hit and why.
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 188
BF%: Guessing about 7 or 8%
Bench: 365 (345 w/out shirt)
Squat: 405
DL: 455
Military: 225
For comparison's sake, here's 11 months ago and here's today

Lookin’ solid bro.
I think you have a good plan. If you have a year, you can bulk then cut bro, and you will look like a monster compared to the bodyweights that you mentioned.
If you calves are weak bro, train them first – make them a priority. They will be looking good in a year.
Good luck.

You have a great look going. It's hard to tell from the pic of your back, but it looks like you might need a little more width back there, and some overall thickness(maybe a liitle more quad sweep too). With a year to go I think you'll be in great shape, as you seem like a dedicated person from your posts that I have read.
And you like Arnold, he took his calves from nothing to really something very quickly w/ tons of weight, volume, and high reps(probably a liitle juice too)

Dont need to change much, look great. Maybe a little more ab development along with quads and back. Another 10lbs of lean muscle and you should be ready for the show.

look amazing, you have plenty of time to become a monster. only thing i can recommend is defining the abs more, by ab workouts. also i find my abs to have gotten more defined by doing lateral running exercises. If you dont mind me asking, what is your cycle experience look like? Well a year from now you will look amazing for your college show. Ironically i am seriously considering entering my colleges bodybuilding contest as well. good luck with everything for you.

I definetly think your calves need more def and size. Your stomach can use some work too, to compliment your stomach definetly but some size on your obliques. Your traps also could use some work your back needs more size for the definition. But other than that you look great! Where your at right now is were I want to be in a year!

Well done. Lower back looked a little weak. Try deads, hyper, reverse hypers, etc.
My calves used to be my weakest bodypart. About six months ago I started dedicating a whole day to calves. Calves for 45 minutes. Every calf machine in the gym. Lots and lots of reps. Heavy weight, stupid heavy weight.
My calves have gone crazy growing. Covered in veins, upside down heart and all.

Abs, Tris and Calves. I don't see the problem with his lower back, it looks good to me
Calves, try Dante's way of doing it. 12 reps, 10 second stretch at the bottom between each reps.
And for your obliques, just try some twist crunches. Works like a charm.
