Just a questions for the power lifters, i am not I bber, but i do good morning for lower back, but also find they work upper hams pretty good, my question is I am doing something wrong are is it a lower back/ham moverment?

Yes GMs will hit your hams and pretty hard. However there are many variations of this movements. If the type you're doing don't fit your needs try a different type of GM.
