    couple questions about creatine and protien

    is liqiud or powder creatine better and do u really need protien shakes cause i eat like a bear and am always eating foods filled with protien

    jsut wondering dont have $ to be blowing

    powder creatine is the way togo

    no you dont realy need shakes if your getting enough protein from food

    the shakes are a good fast source

    no you don't need protein shakes just like DD said. Those are just to help you attain more protein without eating so much. I would recomend you taking in some whey protein powder after you workout because your body needs a quick digesting protein source to supply amino's to fuel your stressed muscle, this will help to kickstart the healing process or repair of your muslce fibers. I would also recommend adding some Maltodextrin or Dextrose postworkout .3 to .8 grams p/bodyweight to replenish muscle glycogen. Twinlab makes a good brand called Hydrafuel. It also has some fructose in it to replace liver glycogen. Hope this helps.

    Just got to remember that most Humans can digest prot every 2 hours, so I try to get in a shake, to make up for the times that I cant max out with prot, usually 40grms every 2-3 hours.
