Calcium interferes with Zinc absorbtion. Take it one hour before bed, by the time you're ready to drink your shake, it will be asbosred.

Agreed, the protein is more important than the ZMA, worry about the protein first then the ZMA.

Most protein powders per scoop have over 100mg (10% RDA) so most people have 2 scoops before bed so it is a fair amount, nothing to write home about though.

    Bed Time

I take ZMA before bed and feel it helps me sleep.

Pain-What can I throw in my before bed shake that isn't to bad for me carb wise? Strawberries? Banana? Or are those not good

I rather go with a fat source with my before bed protein shake. Flax is my favorite, doesn't do much for the taste but best when it comes to health and protein slowing benefits. If you want something with taste, natural PB is next best IMO. If you want a carb source I would go with oats, I would stay away from fruits before bed.

fats are good since they slow down the protein. Which you want so it kinda has a "time released" effect

Im taking zma an hour after i drink a cytogainer shake everynight. I'm trying to put on some more weight, so should I take in more protein before I go to bed and just forget about the zma or should i forget about it?

It takes about 30 min to 45 min for the zma to absorb into your stomach when it is empty. If you take the ZMA at say 9:30, you could have a shake at 10:15 and be completely ok.
