    Talking Alternative to Anabolics

In a way the title is a bit of a joke but in a way its not. I just wanted to say Big Kev's routine is F@#*KING AWESOME! I have been using it before I even signed up as a member and it makes for some serious gains. Awesome workout bro, but i have a quick question for anyone whos seen it or maybe even for Big Kev if he sees this, what about forearms? Will all the grip from the other excercises work them enough (assuming no wraps or other aids are used) or should I throw in some seperate sets for forearms on the arms day??

    Thoughts?

your forearm is a seprate muscle, and should be worked out

w/ seperate sets like wrist curls and that rope on a bar w/ a weight hanging from it and you twist it up killer exercise

I tried that theory for about six months and it got to the point where I could'nt grip enough weight to do my t-bar rows or my shoulder shrugs for the prpoer amount of reps. I work my forearms out twice a week now to make up. Definately work the forearms!

I work out mu fore-arms along with my bicepts. Usually I superset say for ex. Preacher curl, with rope twist, or concentration with wrist curls. This seems to really burn the hell out of my forearms!

There are many, many muscles in the forearm alone and it is wise to hit them all. Do wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, hammer curls
