I recently started boxing and my buddy who also does it wheres a sweat suite in the gym when hes training I've never been really sure about this but do they actually contribute to fatloss or is it just to make you sweat like hell and drop some fast weight.

Interesting I would like to know as well? I gues it could bump up your temp and have a thermogenic effect but I am not sure?

Best to keep as cool as possible while doing a workout as intense as boxing.

You lose water.
As soon as you re-hydrate, it's all back.

When I see a guy at the gym who always is in sweats it makes me think that he gains and loses a lot when he cycles and doesn't want people to know. Or he just likes to wear sweats.
