    HGH testing

    just how hard and expensive is it to test for HGH?

    Not very. Any endo or urologist can run a blood panel and tell your levels. If you have insurance it would basically be free otherwise you're looking at about $200.00usd

    i meant more in the sense of.. how hard and expensive is it to test if an athlete is using HGH for a organization?

    so you can just go to your general doctor and ask to have your hgh levels checked? and if you have insurance your covered?

    Not likely. What would your reason be for wanting it checked (as told to the doctor)? If you're normal size and clinically sound, there wouldn't be an indication for testing. And they don't just check your growth hormone levels, they also check IGF-1, cortisol, TSH, T4, free T4, etc. These are all involved in the secretions of the pituitary. The indications for growth hormone deficiency are hypopituitarism, and its clinical presentations (you can google it for details).

    And your insurance won't cover the test unless there's an indication for it. So the doc would have to lie, which he/she likely won't do. You can get everything tested by an Anti-aging lab, like A4M, but you will likely have to enroll and it will cost you some money.
