When asking for bloodwork ....
hey guys.
just wondering when i ask for bloodwork to be done, do i ask to see my test
levels etc or how well my liver is when they get the results back?
or do they tell you everything? or only if somethings wrong?
because i want to know what my normal test levels are like before and after cycle, and also the conditon my liver is in before and after.
thanks

Thanks guys.
do you reckon they will get a bit suspicious that im asking about my liver / test levels?
especially if theyve dealt with steroid users before?

Highly doubt it. You have all the right in the world to make sure your organs and hormones and are all healthy and in good balance. Steroid usage is the last thing they would think.

Im not so sure (i could be wrong about this) that doctors are in the business of playing "police officer". My understanding is that you could show up with a crack pipe in your hand and a cut on your other hand, and all they will do is stitch up your cut and send you on your way. I haven't ever heard of doctors looking for suspicious blood test requests and notifying the DEA of a potential juicer .... again - someone can correct me if im wrong.

yeah i guess, but as far as im aware ..
if you go into see them with drug related problems, whether it be roids or cocaine they have to make a file note on it.
now this can hinder your chances if you want to join the armed forces or police where they look into your medical background etc.
im not 100% if this is what actually happens, but ive been told by someone in that field so it could be true.

to get a blood test?
depends i guess on if your doc thinks you need one done or not.
it will be free if he/she thinks you need it done for medical treatment / diagnosis i would imagine.
if not, i think a rough estimate of about £20 or $50? just an observation ive gatherd from people being charged for pregnancy bloodwork tests.

All i gotta say is that the military background checks are not very effective, at least the medical ones. I have three disqualifying conditions that are all over my medical records that they didn't "find."

The best policy with the doctor is to be totally honest with him. He cannot dime you out to the police unless you bring your gear TO the doctor's office. His job is to be your physician, not your cop/judge/jury/executioner.

just tell your doctor you have been crying at sappy movies. he'll for sure check your test. i dont know how things work anywhere else but in canada with health care, we go for regular check ups/ dentist appointments because its almost free. The doctor will ask you what you want to test, along with some things he's gonna check anyways. Just ask him to test ur testosterone . Maybe its not that simple in other countries.
