Question Request for help RBC HCT end of cycle.

Cycle ended a month ago. HRT patient so no PCT. Longest ester used on cycle was Phenyl Prop.

    Issue is this:

Week 1 after cycle HCT 52%+ RBC slightly high out of range.
    Week 1 Phlebotomy 700 cc.
Week 2 CBC with HCT 48.5%+ RBC slightly high out of range.
    Week 3 Phlebotomy 700 CC
Week 4 CBC with HCT 48.2%+ RBC slightly high out of range. Immediate Phlebotomy 700cc. Return 1 week for CBC.

Has anyone experienced this before? 2L is a lot of blood, doctor does not seem too concerned. He thinks it will reach an equilibrium this week and we should see 45% HCT.

Any thoughts. I am taking no supplement that has iron. My personal worry is I have not read anyone running a cycle that had to give blood weekly at this pace and by now there should be no PhenylProp in system..just TRT dose. All other CBC readings are normal. All CMP readings are normal except Uric Acid (slightly elevated). E2 is low in range.

    Thank you for any feedback.

I would venture to say that your HRT dose is too high.
What is your HRT protocol? What are your T levels on it?

HRT is 160 a week in 2 shots of TPP. Here the top end of range is 28 at one lab I use and 34 at another lab with same units measured. I rest at 29-30 on the range at both facilities.

Did my 4th CBC since end of cycle (1 month) and after 2.8 L of blood out I am at 44.3% HCT with Glycogen level of 147. Will go back next thursday for another CBC to see how quickly the TRT dose will increase levels. Haematologist provided the following situation....

Took initial CBC with 52.3 HCT..two weeks after was first Phlebotomy. Did not CBC immediately before but estimates HCT was around 55. The next Phlebotomy brought the blood level down but due to my size my liver holds a larger pool of blood than normal people. SO when we hit 48 the liver was coming to homeostasis and then this last Phlebotomy was a more realistic treatment with the body at homeostasis. Amazing how much the hypertension reduces with correct HCT.

Has me on a two week schedule going forward for Phlebotomy and every week CBC. CBC costs 35 USD and Phlebotomy is 25 USD. Hopefully this has it controlled so cycle 2 can be scheduled.

I'd reduce the T dose to 100mg weekly (around 20).

I would make sure you're hydrated properly for the next couple runs of CBC's. I wouldn't change TRT dose. Donate double red cells when in range.

Just got my last CBC and HCT at 43% with Hemoglobin at 146. Happy with this and will do 2x more CBCs before starting anything new.

Thank you for the help and information. Still shocked at over 2L gone and the delayed results.
