    Big Bench

Waht's up bro's? Just curious about the history of the big benchers on AR. Did most of you get there with the help of AS. Is it possible to get a big bench - lets say 350 and above with just hard work and a strict diet. How many of your were strong as **** to begin with. I don't have a big bench, and wonder WTF i'm doing wrong. Bench is only like 275 for 1 at 210 pounds. I'm 35, but that should not be an excuse. Hit me up. Peace. Anybody have any bench routines they would care to share w/me. Thanks.

Had a 405 pound bench press for a triple while completely natural. It is possible.

Thats sweet. Guess I'm just weak in the chest. Does having short arms help a person, or is that just a long arm'd person's excuse??

Short arms isn't the be all and end all of a good bench, but it does help. Consistency is the real determining factor when it comes right down to it. Also, training the WHOLE body is a must. If you have small legs, no bog bench. If your back sucks, no big bench. Make it a goal to increase your poundages on all of your lifts and the bench will have no choice but to follow.

    what juice did for me:

    I benched 365 for 8 reps abotu 1 week before I touched juiice.. I weighed 355lbs tho.. 6'2"

One year after juicing I benched 415 for 4 reps (coudla got 5)... but I weighed 285, and felt alot healthier.

the key to naturally trainging is mostly dieting and smart training. By smart training I mean not over training, which is VERY easy to do when your not using gear.

I dont think I coudl be 285 bencing 415 for reps without juiice.. I coudl have got 415 for reps naturally but it scared me to think how much wieght I woudl have to put on..

It all depends on your training style. It is very possible natural, you just gotta train for it. With powerlifting, speed=power.

Failing at 500 now...My pr is 505 still natural... Trying some cardio now,and its making things rough.. Theres a difference between strength and power. I think genetics and training plus nutrition make or break you. Regardless of steroids ,you need to have everything in line. I've had everything in line for years now and it shows.

I think you have to make a decision. What your training for and how your going to do it. I made mine at an early age, thats why my lifts are where they are at today. My genetics are really good for what I use them for. I wouldnt accel nearly as well if I went the bodybuilding route.

Look up some powerlifting rountines if you want power. If you cant find any just pm me and i'll be glad to lend a hand. Take care.
