For the same reason I buy steaks over hamburgers...If I can afford it, then I see no problem shelling out my hard earned money on something that makes me happy-in this case, building a better body.

I can afford it. Have no CC bills and my home is paid for. Have a car payment but it is 0% so no need to pay it off. Also I have been able to jocky things around were my cycles are almost free.

LMAO. No way bro the only thing that makes my stomach hurt is when I have to pay into my kids college fund. The reason is because I still don't think it will be enough.

I just dont have anything else to spend it on. 100% of my cash goes to food, roids, study material and rent. Nothing more nothing less.

never buy gear if you cant afford it. I have been putting off hgh for 3 years now, because my house, my car, and my investments are first. Then Diet and gym membership then gear. This is the difference between us and the real drug addicts. We need to never forget that and take it apon ourselves to take the high road and have priorities. Dicipline is what makes a bodybuilder great, and if you cannot afford the gear you should not be on it.

i tell myself that its better to spend the money on gear then buy a kilo from the columbians and take it back to the hotel where i take lines off of the norweigan hookers asses. those days were too expensive for me.

When you homebrew a cycle costs about as much as buying a DVD so it doesnt take a whole lot of justification.

i never started before having a well paying job and health insurance after college.......i may throw down $900+ per cycles, but the afterwards effects are priceless....After my day job i get extra gigs as a doorman or bartending so i am never strapped for cash....women are the largest payouts at the end anyways who will payout ur bills cause u look so dam/n fine....

I haven't read through everyone else's responses yet, but i thought i'd throw down my opinion.
I don't justify it. In fact, not having $$ is one of the reasons i'm not running anything currently. I won't do it until i'm secure and have the $$, energy, time, etc to really do it right. I don't want to do it, then not have $$ for food afterwards or whatever...end up losing anything i've gained, etc. There are more reasons, but that's one of them.
But, at a point where I did in the past, i justified it as a way to improve myself. the way a girl may spend so much a month on hair, nails, etc. Or someone might spend it going out all the time...this is what i spend on myself.
