Has anyone shot this gun? Thinking about getting one, but I dont know anyone who has shot one.

I have yet to fire one, but don't fall victim to the hype from the gun rags. It is a 32 grain bullet running 4225fps. The .22-250 pushes a bigger bullet almost as fast. it retains more energy much farther downrange.

Having said that, I expect a .204 to end up in my arsenal before too long. I just got a .22-250 this past year and have yet to get familiar with it...so another rifle competing for its spot in my safe is out of the question right now.

If you do get one in a Ruger, spend the extra 69 bucks and get the two-stage trigger. I have their target/varmint version, and I just dropped the two stage trigger to 20 oz.....from a factory trigger!
