oh man you have one GREAT system......i foresee this as your next favorite smiley face.. especially in the game arena... Congrats ...
At a bookstore the other day, I saw a book entitled "Sex for Dummies." Why would someone want to teach dumb people how to reproduce? Aren't there enough of them now?

How much does it weigh?

Thanks lace! It says it should ship tomorrow but its only on step 4 of 12 in the build process. Love the smiley icon! haha
Manwithin, it weighs 12.5lbs with battery. Not too light. But its actually being advertised as a 'mobile desktop'. Not really meant to be your lightweight 'airplane' laptop. Moreso, the power of a desktop that can be moved. Its not too heavy for me to sit in my beanbag with it.
One other cool feature is you can upgrade the vid card and everything just like a desktop. the only laptop i know you can do that to.

invest in a labtop cooler, or have fun overheating when burning CD's or playing video games.

Looks like a really nice system. Its a shame u need a laptop though cause with 2800 dollars do u know the desktop system u could build????

2800 is actually a steal for something like that!

its been working great!! it served its main purpose to keep me entertained while on couch arrest (injury). Now i start back to work next week. sucks going back to work after a month off.
the laptop definatly gets hot. I keep it next to the couch on a tv tray. i love it. recommend alienware to everyone!
