I have friends named Omar. Not Kareem though. Guadalahara or how ever you spell it makes sense now. The only movie I remember about the invasion in Spain is "El Sid" It's a pretty cool movie.
My dad and his brothers look very Arabic. You shoulda seen him in New York City. Scared the beejeebus out of some cop he caught off guard in the subway system asking for directions. Cop, had his hand on the gat quick as could be and asked him to back up a few feet real quick. It's sad, because my dad is an old hippy and def from so many concerts. He has to be close to hear. He needs to learn to read lips.
Then when we were on the surface, we passed by some Arabic roach-coach and he thought it smelled good. He went to ask what it was and before he could speak the guy in the coach starts speaking to him in Arabic and my dad laughs and says he's Mexican.
