getting motivated on hot and humid days
Anyone else have trouble getting motivated to hit the gym when the temps and humidity are high.

I see you're from NY. I'm from southwestern CT, about an hour outside NYC. Dude it is humid as a motherf*cker up here. I'm sure its the same over there. Its 90 degrees with 90% humidity. It seriously feels like 150 degrees. It really sucks. The humidity is awful. Ok, enough complaining. Good thing I work in an office. AC all day, AC in my car. But no AC at my house. Oh well.

Not me. When its hot and humid I sweat more which makes me feel like I'm getting a better workout.

Im in the humidity capital. i think it was 95% the other day. some days im outside for 8 hrs and then i hit the gym. i usually sit in my truck with the ac on for awhile till im cooled and feel better. i skip cardio and go straight for the weights.

I motivated myself to hit the gym, even during the sweltering temps. I'm glad I did. it was one of my best chest workouts. I guess the sweating helps not to mention the girls sweating it up on the cardio machines. When I was I was done it actually felt cooler outside.
