Whats the deal with the fighting? Did you prove anything besides the fact that you and your friends are assholes and thieves?
I dunno, I like to think we still live in a world of morals, and that people still have a little class. Not that I think im better then anyone else, but damn, the way you carry yourself, your actions, they speak pages about the kind of person you are.
Im all for fighting when the need arises, but what you and your friends did was childish.

I personally am not saying he should get off the charges. I believe his actions were inapt and childish.. But the legal system will more then likely conclude that he was not the sole purpitrator, that is if his lawyer is any good.. Therefore he might get off his charges.. But I think some fines, and a little community service always puts a different perspective on a persons thinking as they are about to jump out of a car and gang beat 2 people

It's ok, even if he isn't put in jail, the guys that got assaulted have a great case for civil court. I wouldn't worry about the criminal part, he is going to go bankrupt for his stupidity along with his friends after they get done paying for all the hospital bills, pain and suffering, etc etc. In the end he'll get what's coming to him
