Thread: who here is into guns?

the mossberg 500 series is a good gun. alot of people will tell you that its cheap, but in the case of this gun, the low cost does not reflect on the quality of the weapon. btw, the ruger 1022s are sick. it kind of annoys me that the mini 30, and mini 14 are so much more expensive when they are relatively similar to the 1022.

#6 or even 7 1/2 will stop a 600lb black bear if you put the shot in their face. It can also turn an appendage or gut into hamburger at indoor ranges and won't seriously penetrate 2 layers of drywall. My ammo of choice for 1st strike close range targets.
Beanbags can kill, I like them for their knockdown power close range but will take lead pellets for their pure effectiveness. I wouldn't worry too much about shooting slugs through your modified choke, just don't do it everyday, and if you wanted to, just have the bbl opened up to cylinder by a gunsmith for $50.

yeh i seen the small glocks.. i like the full size.. i think it defines glock to what it is really.. i think if u want a small gun a sig sauer maybe.. i beleive in a concept... for example.. if u buy a gun that was ment to be small it will be great.. but if u buy a gun that was made big and modified small to the market it will be bad.. it works for everything..

i should keep away from a glock cause i know ill be too tempted to carry it in the street.. which will put me in jail or a box ultimately

mossberg pump 12 g.,single shot 12 g.,single shot 20 g.,20 g. pump,410 g. single shot, 12 g. double barrel, ruger 10/22, old boltaction 22, cz boltaction 22 hornet w/ scope (awesome deer gun for head/neck shots), badass old italian 9 shot revolver, ruger 44 mag. redhawk (my alaskan last resort bear pistol), 22 flip barrel derringer, and my personal favorite, ruger mini-14 in .223
w/ open peep sights. I shot a buzzard off a telephone pole on a hill from a canoe at 100 yards with it-no bs!
Keep on collecting 'em boys someday we might need 'em in a bad way.
And I pity the country that tries to invade us! Most people just down here in Texas have impressive arsenals and know how to use "em.
