So my buddy and I get done doing this grueling workout tonight and we go to TGI Fridays to get some dinner. I'm sitting there talking to him waiting on my food and I all of a sudden realize that 2 or 3 of the waiters there are wearing their pants almost down to their knees it seemed w/ their shirts somehow still tucked in them. It looked like they all had loads of crap in their pants. For one, I think this shit is stupid enough to begin w/, especially when its a white kid. But working in a restaurant?? A service industry!! Our waitress came back over and I said something to her about it, I was like "how come they let these kids wear pants hanging off their asses in here?" She just looked at me and didnt say much, stupid bitch, I guess she was a ghetto banger too. So I'm eating my meal, and these little skinny white ****ers wearing their pants like this keep on walking by, it started to kind of bother me. Then this tall one cut his eyes at me, I knew the waitress said something to him. Oh boy, you just signed your own god damn death warrant now. Nobody cuts their eyes at me like they're hard shit, especially some little skinny paper gangster white mother****er. I stare right back at him and he quickly turns his head. He didnt do it again, if he had I would have said something to him. So as I'm leaving I asked to talk w/ a manager. Then this ****ing fat retard comes walking up to me who didnt look in much better shape than the thugs. I just told him it was disrespectful and ****ing bullshit, and there are plenty of people who are unemployed who can carry themselves better, and slack asses like this get the jobs. Then I got thinking that it took me to say something to the ****ing manager before, and if, he says something to them? What the **** kind of manager lets shit like that go on anyways? I just always believe in doing the best job I can. I'm freinds w/ more than a few black people, and the black people I'm cool with arent down with stupid 120lb white kids trying to act hard.

That being said, don't take it out on the kid waiters wearing that. It is solely the responsibility of the manager to make sure his employees attire is in order. If the manager doesn't give a shit then who are you to judge. If you don't like it eat somewhere else, especially if you are only paying $10 a steak like someone else said. When I eat out and I pay 100 Euro for me and my woman I expect some damn good service with a good wine to go with it. If I pay 10 to 20 Euro for a meal I expect a double whopper with cheese combo meal served by saggy pants, pimple faced kids-- maybe some screaming babies for the ambience.

I remember when the Beatles, long hair, rock and roll, bell bottom pants, and peasent dresses were all the rage. i was a teen and my dad forbid hair over the ears, long sideburns, bell bottoms and didn't give a sh#t about r&r cause he never heard it...it wasn't played in the house for many years. My point is I also remember thinking how utterly stupid my dad sounded when he would go off on a rant about the "kids of today" and how lazy, dumb, and worthless they were....all because of hair style or clothes...it seemed to me then, as it does now, "much ado about nothing".

I have a 21 year old daughter, and a 17 year old son now..thankfully neither one of them every wanted to dress or act like ghetto-rats, but they have, and do got through various fads of fashion that I can only shake my head at and smile...however, they are also respectful of adults. I can pretty quickly come unglued at some little punk-ass face that trys to act hard toward me or one of mine...then the old man is in their face inviting them to show off some of their "hard". I also let the punks know not to let my grey hair make a coward out of them...

I have an 11 year old daughter who insists on wearing the same pair of jeans all the time and nothing but t-shirts to school. She also wears these big nasty black skater type sneakers with the laces tucked in. I look around when I'm at the mall and I see all the girls dressing the same way. I buy her nice clothes and she won't wear them because the other kids at school apparently make fun of you if you dress nice. I hope this is something she grows out of. It was so much easier when she was younger and she just wore whatever we put on her. Now that I'm 35 I find it hard to understand the grungy styles kids find cool. Think about it. You cannot enforce your code of dress on anyone else. Your choices... Express the fact that you dislike how they are dressed and let management know you will not go there again until it changes. Or, buy the place and enforce a dress code. You can't do much else.

Well said. I think a bigger problem is getting food that is not hot. I don't eat fries very often but it seems like every time I order them at BK they are cold and nasty... I think that if I have to pay 6 Euro on a combo meal it better have fries that at least pretend to be warm.
