The important thing isn't whether or not he is intimidated by your size... the important thing is the fact that you'll still whoop his ****ing ass.

It's the guys who open their mouths and talk shit like "his size dont scare me" that have something to prove. The ones who know they arent pussies dont have any reason to open their mouths like a punk. That is all I am referring to, it has nothing to do with the fact that I feel inferior b/ somebody said something that I overheard, its actually quite the opposite. And anybody who thinks size doesnt mean shit in a fight doesnt know anything about body mechanics or fighting to begin with. Bigger traps on a guy means it's going to be harder to knock him out, knock outs usually occur from a sudden pinching of the nerves in the neck that happens from a punch, especially a jaw shot. 90% of your fights always end up on the ground, the stronger guy has an advantage here as well. Pressure points? Forget it, muscular people have a very high resistance to pressure points doing much of anything in a ground fight. There are alot of pressure points in the legs and arms and also a couple in the chest which can hardly be felt when done to somebody of muscular stature. And a smaller guy will have a tough time getting him to the ground, as a bigger body with legs to boot means a low center of gravity for support. Somebody who is 200 or 250 or whatever fairly lean most definitely has an advantage over 150lbs, often even if it's inexperienced fighter vs. smaller experienced. We have more shoulder strength behind our punches, it hits harder. And you always hear people say shit about being slower when your bigger, not always the case if they've kept lean and flexible. Now dont get me wrong here, there are several people who are 150 lbs that can beat the shit out of people alot bigger than they are, but in general, in almost any sport including fighting, the stronger guys rule the field

wait wait.. okay .. how about this...
Stayin stack is experiencing "roid rage ", which is why he's so upset with the people around him....
New rule.. when on juice you are not allowed to get mad or even slightly upset with those around you, otherwise it's the roids fault!
And when i typed roid rage i did the little quotation symbol thing with my fingers..

i personally avoid all that shit and can care less if someone is intimidated by my size, any skinny young punk can pull a trigger so what good is your size than.
i have some broke down thugs at my gym and we all avoid each other, but at the same time respect each other’s space. if something was gonna go down, i'll grab a piece from my car and start popping those ****ers one by one rather than relying on my size. Fistfights are for kids.

but i'm going to have to correct you on this post.
Mark Kerr & Mark Coleman are prime examples of strength not being a deciding factor in fighting (at the upper-echelon level), The Gracies built their system around proving technique vs power, hence, the effectiveness of Jujitsu.
Also, pressure points are a myth,

Its hard to get a guy in an armbar or some submission is that guy can curl more than the other guy can dip or benchpress hehe

I understand your comments. Sometimes it's tuff to sit there and take crap from someone. You did the right thing by not beating the hell out of the guy and getting arrested. Better to come here and get it all out on the keyboard.
I listened to some drunk idiot talk shit to a friend of mine, later he comes in the bath room (2 person) and still talking shit about my friend, who he had no idea I even knew. I wanted so bad to lay the guy out, prop him up with his chin in the urinal and take a piss on him. But I just walked out.
By the way, are you using Tren at this time?Last edited by sp9; 02-11-2006 at 08:07 PM.

I'll have to say size does intimidate but in my personal expeirence fear has always worked good for me in a fight I try to never go into a fight under estimating someone. That can get you hurt in a hurry no matter what your size is calm and collected is the best way to go about it.

over jelous? Why not just jelous? Can one get too jelous? Do you mean overzelous? And if a person is not intimatated by size...who cares? Good for him. On the other hand, why does this guy need to say it? And why would him saying it bother you? WTF?

Like mike said good for them if size doesnt intimidate them. Just cuz they're shorter or smaller doesnt mean they have to walk around their whole life afraid of everyone that is bigger than them. I've seen many a fight where a small guys have knocked out bigger guys and people are shocked by it. Like Vince Lombardi said " It's not the size of the dog in a fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." Why this particular short guy proclaimed it I dont know, maybe a Napoleon complex. Last night in a bar a guy indirectly said to me just cuz your bigger doesnt mean I can't put up a fight. More power to him but to be honest, I dont care.
