I think Lyle's main issue with many is that he really, really, really enjoys pointing out idiotic reasoning. If there is anything wrong with something written/said, he pulls no punches.

This makes him come off as an @ss. Also, theres the fact that he actually is an @ss. lol.

The guy is smart, I won't argue that - but he is extremely blunt and candid with everyone on the Net... and sometimes his humor can be insulting (actually - usually his humor is insulting). His books read so well that it can be a shock...

I have always wondered if he speaks to people the same way face-to-face though...

I would like to know if he was in Honolulu a few years back... like around 2000-2001 time frame? I used to work out at the Pearl Ridge 24 Hour Fitness and met this guy at the gym that was trying to preach me some Body Opus stuff that looked just like Lyle... can't remember the guy's name but he showed me some of his pics at a ripped buck fitty or so... this guy was smart and easy to talk with about diet... got me on my first keto...

Understood, like I said I had people telling me bits/pieces and telling me "you have to see this", etc....

I think it's great that it never happened, because not only is it false, it means there is no grounds to have to go any further.

However, him coming here and giving his little b.s. comments and such, and dogging my advice/business, well that just shows you what kind of person he is. Since swole is a long time member here and this is the forum I frequent the most, I think I owe it to other members like him and myself, to not sit back and allow that kind of thing to be said about them.
