brokeback mountain was supposed to be a good movie. They just take hte concept and make a shit movie out of it
NO SH*T. I think it was nominated for best picture soley on the basis that they were scared to make the general public think they are homophobic. I mean seriously...take out the homosexual characters adn the movie STILL sux.

*and yes, it is football, just 'cause you cretins couldn't play it so started picking up the ball and called that game football doesn't change the fact that what you call soccer was called football looooong before you nancy boys started getting padded up and wearing tights.

I've never liked American football. I think my father purposely kept us out of stereotypically Black sports. Instead of football, basketball and baseball. He had us in soccer 8 years (I was left wing forward), diving 5 years and gymnastics 20 years.

Funny story. I went to an all White school. Our family, the only minorities in the entire school system. When my brother and I got to high school the football and basketball coaches asked us if we wanted to be on team. We asked when is try outs? They said you don't have to try out. You have a spot on team. Weren't they surprised when we showed up for practice and didn't know how to throw or catch a football and we dribbled a basketball with two hands. For some reason they just ASSUMED we knew how to play.

Diving? Wasn't that dangerous? - I heard black people had heavier bones and sunk in water!

Yeah, and I hear Black people are like cats and afraid of water.

We don't know how to play golf or tennis either. The things people come up with.

no it aint man, the most physically demanding non contact sport would have to be cycling.
Most demanding contact sport is rugby.

I think soccer is probably a more demanding non-contact sport that cycling. Cycling does not require ball-skills, agility, and teamwork. Just endurance.

As a football player (American), I'd still have to agree with you on the Rugby thing. No pads = more boo-boos.

There are gay rugby teams. A documentary was made about one team. The Chicago Dragons.

Interesting. Rugby players' dentists and orthopedics must make a killing.
What a sport. If we had it where I grew up, It would have probably been my sport of choice, but I still don;t understand the rules completely.
