wow this is a long thead in no time at all.

Well I'm not a body builder but I I do train for sports so not how much I qualify for the really muscluar guys opinion buttt

I'm not sure a girl can be to big (natually that is) I mean alot of guys in here wouldn't be as big as they are on their own, no I haven't seen actual female body builders in person before so maybe they can be.

My biggest issue would be with a girl being too cut. I'd rather have a girl with soft look to them. ( NOT FAT!!!) If a girl is below 13%bf then she's getting boarderline dangerious to cut for me.

As far as being attractive to guys, well guys are dogs and if your half way attractive guy will want to get with you....maybe not have a relationship with you for certain reasons. Like to me on a scale 1-10 once you get to an 8 or higher it's all the same. I mean once your that hot it verys on what the guy is looking for chest, butt, abs whatever.....it's just a hotness varitey. Hell on some nights even some 7's can be traded in for a 9 ( there are no perfet 10's no one can keep their body up like that over a long haul)

As for umm banging a fitgirl/gymrat thing.......best to make sure it's not someone in your own gym if your gonna do it. Cuz once it gets broken off your still always gonna be in the gym she's always gonna be in the gym and you probly have close to the same scheduals so your gonna see each other all the time then one of you will prbly swith up thier workout times a little then you find another girl down there repeat a mistake now you gotta avoid alot of people and you know that they are talk to other people about you...just a big mess.

There was some other stuff I was going to rumble on about but I forgot what it was rumbling on about this stuff :P

I like women who like to work out and take care of their bodies. But once you see the ones that start looking like men and could kick my ass, then thats a no no.

What do you think of women who work out all the time? Some jack ass once told me that because I work out as much as I do I must be high maintenance, and I'm actually the exact opposite.. do you respect women more if they work out regularly?

I'm interested to hear your opinions on this stuff... will be interesting to compare it to how I think from a womans point of view..

    Thanks!
for me i prefer petite although my current girl is 5'8'' about 115. athletic but not too toned up. i was with a girl once who's abs started to look like a guys. as far as a girl working out to much? i respect anyone who works hard and is happy with their body. whether or not or they are attractive to me makes no difference. if you try hard you have my respect.

Maybe you and Katelette should go bar-hopping together in Toronto.

You can workout all you want. If you're somehow packing on the muscles you're getting some help, a womens body isnt designed, biologicaly, to become muscular. So I have no issue with women having some nice abs, toned legs arms whatever.

It also depends on what kind of lifestyle you have and where you see your life going. My husband both ate the same meals, drank shakes, went to the gym and tanned twice a day... but there came a point when we wanted a family and one of us stepped back and took care of that. Of course my body isn't what it was - out gym time was 1.5hrs. a day on avg. And he's ok with that - and knowing that gives me the comfort that yes, I don't have to be a rock... but that doesn't mean I want to be a softie either. So that's what I'm working on. If he wasn't ok with all this... it would never have worked. Sometimes you just can't be too critical on possible partners, there's always room for both mental and physical growth.

Good call Temptation... there has to be a meeting of the minds as well as lifestyle and body. But, you have to start somewhere and build from there... common grounds, such as your husband and yourself, is the perfect example. And from there you guys were able to grow together... and that's farking awesome.. congrats! I don't know if I would be able to do the same... having kids is something I struggle with... so kudos to you, it's not easy! Or so I hear.. Finding a suitable partner would be a good place to start though.. lol

This is a tough subject for me and has caused considerable strain on my relationship..mainly due to the fact that i will not budge an inch when it comes to diet/gym time.

    Define 'average'.

I fine different things attractive in different individuals.

Yes i appreciate a woman who takes care of herself... but that appreciation doesn't vary according to her level of involvement in the fitness arena.

As long as she exercises and is conscious of herself and her eating.. and not turned off by my own personal goals it'll be cool.

My girlfriend works out off and on... but is a national hockey player. She also swam at the National level. I think we get along because we both understand the rigours of high-level training.. and both respect each other's dedication.

    I think that is central.

Obviously he's never had a woman who works out regularly. Human's try to label things they don't understand...That's probably it.. not ever having a hot buff chick he didn't understand the phenomenom.. poor guy

    Hell yea.

Moreso if they train hard core.

Like my girl.. when she's in the gym she scatters tho "i-curl-in-the-squat-rack" guys.

She's like.. "move bitches.. i'm about to squat 225"

So yea.. i've nothing but respect for girls that train regularly.. and hard.

I totally admire guys who are dedicated to the gym. It's something that's fascinated me for many years... I love muscles and can truly respect a guy who works that hard to look as such... And I enjoy being around it because it motivates me to push myself harder and strive to be the best I can be. Likewise with dieting, eating is something that so many people take advantage of, but when you look around and see people who are in complete (or most of the time anyway) control of what they put in to their bodies it's really hot... definitely a lifestyle that turns me on in many ways... not just physically stimulating is what I mean..

That being said I respect and appreciate the women who do it just as much.. if not a bit more since it's harder for us..

I'm a personal trainer at Gold's and I see hot bodz all day. It's often a shallow scene. I can appreciate a nice bod but average bods are a turn on especially when the girl is not all narcissistic. I like "down the earth" types over the peacocks. I especially like nymphos and not all of the hot bodz are nymphos. Bring on the nymphos IMO.

Same thing... if you're working hard it and putting in all the effort you're still showing the hard work and dedication to improving yourself. I'm not where I want t be physically but I'm training hard and seeing results and that's really cool. Deciding to be on a continuous uphill battle of improvement is a difficult choice, I respect people who make that decision. And everyone has to start somewhere.. I remember what I looked like when I started training 4 years ago... such a shame! I'll always remember my old roommate for forcing me to the gym and criticizing me for putting crap into my body... totally chnaged my life... and then I came on here and it's changed even more and I seem to have conquered my plateau.. yay! It's great to always be lerning and being proactive in self improvement.. and that goes for everything too, not jsut physical, you have to grow as a person too..

LOL.. thanks Tim! There's lots of great women out there... just as I'm sure theres lots of great men... but I have no idea where any of them are!

If I was a man I think I'd want someone like Angelina Jolie or Katherine Zeta Jones over someone svelt or overly-built (in my eyes). Unless you're competing, curves are a beautiful (and natural) thing.

Katelette if you ever think you may want children just make sure you're fully prepared to have a body that's "not your own" for 18 months. 9 months up & 9 months down. And these days women can have babies in their 40s, 50s & 60s. Sorry being a new mother I still have that "new life glow" and yes, babies aren't for everyone but if you're strong and willed... your body will return to an even better physique post partum.

Nark -- that's wonderful about your girl being a national hockey player. That's one thing I wish I had gotten into...

Just make sure she's sober! ... what am I saying, of course you will.. haha.
It must be really difficult to meet quality women when you spend your key nights working inside a bar though.

Since I don't really drink I don't even make the effort to go out anymore. I'm so tired by the time 10:00 p.m. rolls around.. I'm up at 5:30 for cardio and hitting the weights later in the day, just doesn't allow time for the bars... I usually pass out early .. but I like it that way because I really enjoy being out and about early in the morning.. very peaceful and quiet.. especially in the summer. Okay, now I"m off topic... oops

Temptation: the 18 month thing is sort of whats putting me off. I guess perhaps if I met the right person that would change, I guess I'm also just being selfish.. but I'm only 25 so I'm gonna let myself be like that for a while yet..haha. I like my independance and I feel like I have enough responsiblility in my ife as it is.. we'll see in 10 years.. thanks for the insight ..

it is, and i work a fair distance from where i actually live, so i never meet anyone who lives near me. in the daytime all i do is eat and train, aswell as whatever comes along, then work most nights. so i never meet anyone really, apart from girls who live ages away. i usually attract older women, as they think im much older than i am, then when they find out how old i am, some of them get put off. i guess lately im being very picky also. as for the pregnancy thing, your mind will likely change one day, one thing ive realised is that thoughts and goals can always change

It will always be difficult for you to get a good answer. I like thin women. But if a woman is muscular and has a good tummy, wow I go crazy. But then when a woman starts gaining mass, there is a point where she is too big for me. But this comes down to personal size. I want to be quite a bit larger than my girl and if she starts looking like a man, I lose the attraction. Muscles are sexy and can be feminine to me, but depending on how homophobic a man is, a woman should be conscious of her actual size. I think that to be attracted to some of the larger muscular woman, one must be a little gay to appreciate and want to love up on someone who looks like arnold. No offense, but everyone is a little different in what they like, therefore asking "whats too big" to me is like asking how gay are you?

yep indeed, doesnt matter how set in a certain way you are, it will, more than likely, be different one day. some people forget that, and are ignorant with people when they suggest trying something new. youl know when the right time is, and also, i couldnt think of better candidates for motherhood than a girl who is into eating right, not drinking, doing drugs and exercise. these days it seems that if you dont go out and drink the point of illness, do drugs or cheat on your girlfriend then you are weird. its a shame
