They're MMA gloves. They're open palmed so you can grab your opponent. They're only 4 oz's compared to 16 ox boxing gloves. MMA gloves only protect your knuckles not the other persons face. If you've ever watched the UFC/Pride its the same type of gloves.

Did 6 years In the Royal marines, 2 years in 42 commando was a PTI during that time. changed trades 99.
