Damn, I hate to hear that. I am a lot younger, but I have been in that situation before in an environment where you have nothing to do or no one to hang out with. It is like that for me in the summer b/c I stay at school and most other people go home or go on trips, or whatever else. It gets kind of depressing at times, but the plus side is that you stay focused on your training goals, although I believe it is unhealthy to focus only on training/nutrition.

I agree it is depressing. It's why I'm trying to change it. New York is not a friendly city to begin with. It's why I'd rather live in Spain.

No, I'm not big on clubs. Straight places are fine. Friends don't have to be gay you know.

I think you would like the meat packing district, there are alot of good places to eat and just hang out, no big clubs or anything like that and it's hopping in the summer.
