Confused about my luck..
I sincerely have a theory... that if there was a lottery and I was the only one to buy a ticket I would still lose...
Doesn’t seem to matter what I do, but I got shit luck…. Everyone in my life has wonderful luck. Actually a lot of people who just come into my life have even said that their luck has gotten better once they meet me, but my luck... SHIT.
Could someone please use the laws of physics to explain this phenomenon to me please?
I need to change it…
My apartment kinda got flooded this weekend – the main pipe from the street appears to have burst and well I am not going into details… and my bank card and bank account has been frozen fro the 2nd time in 2 months because some dumb ass has duplicated my card….OYA and on top of this I am having a bad hair day.
Your help is appreciated…

Ohhhh don't worry Mizfit.....step into my shoes and you'll see how bad luck can really be. I am the epitomy of bad luck.

When you find the way to chang you luck. Please let me know. This black cloud that has been over my head for the last 9 years is killing me.
Just keep on the positive side. Things will get better in time. Also they say shit happens in 3. Looks like you have had all 3 at once. So it can only get better from here.

Here's one for you Mizfit. One week my girlfriend crashed my car and caused several thousand $$ worth of damage it went into the repair shop for a week. I got it out and was at her house and I was driving home on the Long Island Expressway at 4am where I guess I was tired enough to decide I could fall asleep at the wheel between 70-80 mph. Well I woke up after I slammed into another car. Luckily it wasnt that bad but the cops had to be called. They suspected me of being drunk so they "detained" me and took me for a BAC test which I passed fine. I got out of the precinct at about 11am and had no chance to call my job to tell them i wasnt coming in, so in essence I was fired from my job the same day.......if that's not bad enough I was in between switching insurances when I got into the accident so no insurance company picked it up and i was able to talk the guy I hit out of reporting it to the insurance company saying I'll pay for his damages myself which amounted to 1700$ so I had to come up with 1700$ in a short period without a job and fix my car as well. To this day I still have the damage on my car and Bouncer saw it first hand while he was here. Good times....how i miss them.

Hey USflirter that story is insane. At least you have a car though. I walk everywhere. Yup, if I start work at 3 I have to leave at 2. If I get a ride I can leave at 2:55.
I enjoy walking but damn in the winter it can be a pain. I guess our luck always seems worse to us. I mean I can sit here and say "Atleast you have a car." And you can sit there and say "Ya, but you dont have to pay insurance, gas and repairs."
Glad you are ok after that accident though.
Oh and Mizfit I forgot that this thread was about you LMAO. I'll take you out to lunch next time Im around your workplace, only catch is...you have to drive.

We all feel that way sometimes kidda, my laptop has been fucked for ages but I finally got it back on saturday - fantastic!
Then the very next day on sunday I was doing some work in preparation for a meeting the following day and my portable HP printer died on me, "Oh well" I thought "It's given me a good 2 years service and seen quite a bit of action, at least I still have my multi function centre (combineed fax/copier/printer) to see me through until I get a new portable printer"
As I printed out my meeting agenda for the following day a storm began to brew up outside, I then set the fax to work sending it out to all the reps in my team and just as it started dialling out there was a flash of lightning, the lights dimmed and a sound like a lightbulb popping came from my multi function centre - it too was now completely fucked!
So to summarise, after finally getting my laptop back from repair BOTH of my printers died with an hour of each other the next day - what are the odds of that?

my car has been totaled twice and neither time was my fault.. the ding in my tires.. those r totally my fault but its the magnets in my tires that keep connecting to the curbs and i would seriously pay someone to take those babies out - so ppl would think i was a better driver

i have crap luck too...every time i try and do squats there is some guy using it to do curls....
i believe luck is a state of mind if you hav a good outlook then even when bad things happen, you can turn them into a positive....
for example...Mizfit, even with a bad hair day, you are still smokin...

I didnt slam into a wall or anything thank God. I drifted into another guys lane and i hit the back drivers side of his car and thats when I woke up. I pulled the wheel and over compensated and spun around but luckily didnt hit anything. I smashed my front bumper and my fender when it came down to it. When it came to the job I was on a probationary period....when I was sick I called my friend whom I worked with and told him to tell my boss I wasnt coming in which he did. but my administrators werent happy and we all had to sign a contract sheet saying we had to call the main office when we were sick before 8am. I didnt read it carefully and it said there would be some kind of reprcussions if we didnt (dont remember what they were on the sheet) but since I was on probation in the job it got me fired. It was for the public works dept.

2. YOu have your health (not born as an unfortunate)
3. Do you and your familily have good health?
4. You look great
5. Do you have a good set of parents?
The list goes on. These things are more important than anything that would give you a "typical" bad day. Hope this makes you feel better and look at the big picture

it is a scientifically-proven fact that bad luck appears to run in threes because we tend to group things together into threes.
