2.
If they are so much more technologicall advanced?
what if einstein was an alian, or had alian influence. It guess its more appealing that he was an alian than had alian influence. What if they gave us einstein to give us a kick in the ass
same thing with billy G gates..
maybe they really did visit us to help us build the pyramids

I am a firm believer in aliens. With space being as big as it is, and the trillions and trillions of stars and unknown planets, you'd be a fool not to believe that there is some other form of life out ther other than our planet. We arnt that unique haha. Although I think the Neil Armstrong thing is fake, because any other telescope or satelite would of caught what they saw, I believe.

How come UFO pictures and video always suck? Even though I had an unusal experience myself at age 11 with my mother driving us to the store in the country while a circle shaped aircraft hovered above us and followed us at our speed and stopped when we stoped, I would still like to see some high quality pics and video that are not fabricated.

I do however doubt that it is the case. There is an enormous amount of stars out there, many of them probably closer to the origins of the other civilizations, and probably better suited to colonization than our nearest neighbors.
Such advanced civilizations would probably not need to colonize every star out there. With structures such as Dysons spheres, one could readily imagine what a huge amount of individuals could be living near a single star, so I dont necessarily think one would see a complete civilization of the entire galaxy.

See, thats a tricky word...."believe".
I can't say I believe it and I can't say that I don't.
I don't have enough information to believe one way or the other.
However I believe there is definitely something going on, on a massive scale.
But exactly what, I don't know for sure.
Warning, rant ahead......The "believers are both sides of the same coin.
On the one side, you have the believers that just simply "believe" that there is no such posibility of alien life visiting our planet and will not believe it until it is fed to him thorugh the mass media.
Then there are the believers that thay ARE visiting earth when they have never seen anything for their own eyes, it's more of a feeling based on large possibilities and something of a "wanting" to beleive in some cases.
Both sides are working on faith and presumption to prematurely come to such a conclusion as to "believe" one way or the other.
You may have strong tendencies toward one side of the coin or the other, but if a leap of faith is taken to cross the chasm from strong tendency to "Belief", then there is an error of judgement being made either consciously or unconsciuosly.
A persons filter for incoming information can be pretty strong.
Take for example someone of low self esteem.
You could have two comments, one saying how great they are, and one saying how pathetic they are.
Because of this persons filter, they will only listen to the person that has said that they are pathetic and will be the comment she remembers because it is consistant with their self image/identity, thus continuing to reinforce her pre-existing beliefs.
One may "hear" the statement that she is great, but they will not take it in, integrate it and make it a part of her living reality because of the conflict of interest.
Anyways, both sides are ineffective for balanced, objective and ongoing research into the subject to be able to come to the truth and fact of the matter.
You will find many making a statement on the subject without any prior research into the topic at hand. Displaying their own ignorance on stage, preferring to stay in their pre-concieved little eggshell of an idea on the bigger picture rather than to actually put intellectual effort into the subject they are discussing....don't blame them, it can be more comfortable.
The best way to view this very real phenomenon is to continue to be pragmatic. Keep an open mind on the subject, continually taking in new information unless you have had some first hand experience in some way where you are able to trust your senses first hand.
Buuuuut,...like Einstein said
"I believe only two things to be infinite, the reaches of the Universe, and the capacity for mans ignorance"
Rant over.

neil armstrong has the greatest vacation story ever. people are always like "yea i went to tahiti last year" or "i was in cape cod for the weekend" or "yea, just got back from the bahamas". niel is like..."see that"? pointing at the moon. "i was there. it was alright".

I guess we would also have a fair chanse of picking up any signals. But then again we might have done so already(familiar with the WOW signal?).
imo I think the only way a advanced spieces would not colonise the entire galaxy in a few million years is if they just dont want to. Maby they settle for a few stars or something like that.
But imagine if another spieces have the urge to explore like humans have?
