polyurethane v. latex condoms?
please vote in poll.
which is better in your opinion? most studies have been done on latex and its well established. latex is also cheaper and slightly easier to roll/unroll.
BUT polyurethane avoid allergic reactions in both partners. does not degrade in heat and moisture like latex and has no smell. also its clear instead of white. and the evidence is mounting that its just as good as latex in effectiveness if not better.
i know there are some dirty sluts (guys & girls) on this board from all the posts ive seen, so lets hear some experiences!! lol
*note: thats suppossed to say 'membrane', not 'member' in the pollLast edited by powerliftmike; 08-29-2006 at 07:33 PM.

I like poly, because you can use different lubes with it, and it doesn't ruinine it like latex.

Latex condoms: tried and true.
One thing: In Sex-Ed. they drill it into you that you should ALWAYS use a condom during sex, but they always seem to forget to tell you about LUBE!
OUCH!!!

It's really scarry now a days how many ppl are haivng unprotected sexs.
Even the cleanest looking person can harbour some STD.
Herpes, AIDS - these are for life boys
And yes sex does feel better without a condom - but you have to weight the consequences.

Facts about STDs:
STDs affect men and women of all backgrounds and economic levels. However, nearly two-thirds of all STDs occur in people younger than age 25.
STDs are on the rise, possibly due to more sexually active people who have multiple sex partners during their lives.
Many STDs initially cause no symptoms. In addition, many STD symptoms may be confused with those of other diseases not transmitted through sexual contact - especially in women. Even symptom-less STDs can be contagious.
Women suffer more frequent and severe symptoms from STDs:
Some STDs can spread into the uterus (womb) and fallopian tubes and cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which, can lead to both infertility and ectopic (tubal) pregnancy.
STDs in women also may be associated with cervical cancer.
STDs can be passed from a mother to her baby before or during birth. Some infections of the newborn may be successfully treated, but others may cause a baby to be permanently disabled or even die.
When diagnosed early, many STDs can be successfully treated.
