UTIs and yeast infections usually have nothing to do with uncleanliness. Hell, TOO MUCH cleaning can cause UTIs and something as simple as sitting on a public toilet can give you a yeast infection.

My advice, invest in a water based lubricant (like KY Jelly) and go to town. My wife had this problem after her first pregnancy and we just used lube for a while. The problem eventually corrected itself. Good luck, man.

Antibiotics are the leading cause of yeast infections followed by (in no particular order) condoms, diet, clothing, perfumes, hormones, injury, and sex. He could be giving his wife the yeast infections and not even know it! Cleanliness has little to do with them. Trust me, I dealt with this crap every day while working in an emergency room because, for some odd reason, a lot of women seem to think a yeast infection is an emergency.
