Sure it depends on how you raise em, but I wouldnt ever go near an Akita. I dont like them, and they dont like me, and thats how its gonna be.

That's not a 100% true either...Some presas could be pussies...It's not just the breed some dogs are just more a badass than others..

im getting a pit bull terrier soon. my dog died 1 year ago. it was 16 human years.
in my country u must do a psych test if u want a pitbull. so i might wait till i move to america. i want a black or brown dog. Male

My friend had an all white german shepard that was 135lbs. He lived up in the hills and the dog would jump the gate and chase packs of coyotes.

Maybe a mix...the breed doesnt get that big...Am Staff's will get bigger than Am Pittbulls, so people sometimes call Am Staff's 'king pits' since they are bigger...

Alot of pits aren't good watch dogs..Most the ones I have been around look mean but are gentle as can be..

I have a AM Staff (american pit.) Her name is Mercedes. She weighs in at 73 lbs., all muscle. I had her professionally trained as a protection dog. I also have 2 kids. My kids pull her ears, poke her in the eyes, and pull her legs. She just sits there and rolls over on her back for a belly rubbin' when they do it. But, all I gotta do is point and say one word and your ass out. She'll go right for your throat. Last time someone entered my yard and she got loose, she had them pinned up against the fence for half and hour before the cops showed up. Too bad it was the meter reader guy. She pinned him in a corner and "held" him there with nothing more than agression. She never touched him. She's trained to hold someone with threatening force, and if they try to advance or run, then she gets them. There is one good thing though: I haven't gotten a water bill in a while
