T-ball coach bribes player to bean an autistic kid
It's too bad that this story is in fact true.
PITTSBURGH -- A T-ball coach accused of offering an 8-year-old boy $25 to bean a disabled teammate is unlikely to receive a fair trial because of intense media coverage, the man's lawyer said.

what does "to bean" mean?

people like this just need their asses kicked. It's unfortunate that people get off by hurting others, especially a poor boy with a disability

This guy just needs a plain ole ass beating...don't get the courts involved...all thats needed are a couple of Dads to beat this corksucker down, cornhole him, teabag him, then tie him to a backstop and have pitching practice with his head as the strike zone.....fvking prick..................

That's so wrong. I hope he gets fired over it. He shouldn't be coaching!

Not to sound like a dick I mean obviously what happened was rediculous and they should throw the book at him but when I first read the the title I have to admit I laughed, but on the other hand good thing the kid came forward to get this jerk out from a coaching position

That's just plain aweful! I would have gotten him to do it for no more then $15!
JK. Seriously though, what a whack job. What coach takes T-ball this seriously. Could you see this dude screaming at umpires and stuff. Watching game film of the next team.." THERE'S NO WAY THAT KID IS 7....NO WAY!!" Idiot!

A trial? Sure, its a sick thing to do but why make him go to trial? Mangers ask players to hit kids all the time...yes even at 8 or 9. I used to when I played..and sure he was autistic..but if he was afraid of geting hit, why was this kid playing? Im sure he got hit before..its 9 year olds throwing it goes alll over the place. And also...isnt T-ball off a tee? I odnt get how a kid could 'bean' a playerIn no way am i condoning what the coach did, it was sick..but its baseball and t hat kid risks gettting hit everytime he goes up to the place..on purpose or not on purpose.

It seems like every week a different "adult" is hitting or injuring some kid in a sports game. I think competition is a healthy part of growing up but these parents are ruining sports. Pretty lame

So the coach told the player with the strong arm to throw harder and aim for the face.
So then the autistic kid got hit in the ear and it started to bleed since he had an earing.

why the fvck are autistic kids playing sports. I dont see how you can get hit in the ear if you have a glove on. If you get hit in the ear, that means you missed the ball. U shouldnt get hit in the face unless its a short hop and you miss it or you are too close to react.

I feel like Pitt is such a blue collar city, where everyone does anything they can to get ahead, even if it means hrting others. That dude is a piece of crap. If i ever see him out I would not hesitate to call him out on it.

since when do they pitch in T-ball ............. ???
the whole point of t-ball is to hit the ball off of a tee.
