thats because fat does not need energy to maintain its state while muscle requires approximately 50kCal per day to sustain that lb in men

Ahhh! That makes much more sense. I knew a lady that suffered from hyperthyroidism and she could eat like a cow and not gain a single pound. She looked absolutely anorexic and ate like crap.

I'm just saying I was eating a lot of food at that bodyweight and I couldn't IMAGINE eating as much food as him, let alone clean food.

I don't take T3. I naturally have elevated T3 levels (hyperthyroid). It makes it hard to gain and easy to lose muscle when dieting.

Carlos why eat so much Protein? Have you tried upping you carbs to see if it makes any difference? I'd say 250g Protein + 600carbs/day would be just as effective at bulking as say 400g protein + 400g carbs. Much cheaper too.

I was spending close to 2K/month when I was eating 10-12oz portions of meat 8times/day then dropped to 4-6oz portions and upped my carbs and noticed no difference in weight gain etc.. I think ppl way over-do protein portions, not to mention it tore up my stomach etc.. so the carb switch was a great change.

Salmon, ofcourse it's worth it to "Us".. or obviously we wouldn't live this lifestyle.

wtf? I was agreeing with with somebody who thought he may take in too much protein. I don't know why you think I was being rude

You do realize that excess amino acids will get excreted through urine and crap.. and he definitely has an excess amount in his body.

Although it may be challenging to know how much he should take in a day

    (equivalent to $105-$150-ish USD)

Tuna..tuna..tuna.. oats.. brown rice.. canned veggies.. more tuna

    I don't use supps significantly.

I posted what I'm eating for prep. Off season is different I eat more carbs. Right now I'm cycling carbs and even the high days are not that high. This is how Victor mapped out my diet. I saw a few guys today and they said I look much fuller than I did 2 weeks ago. They said 2 weeks ago I was looking flat. Victor tweaked the diet at that time. He makes changes every few days depending how I look.

    I gotcha..
Yes, Bobby had me eating around 48-56oz of meat per day at times..
That's around 3-4lbs of meat a day... got very expensive.
