Simple math. No matter what number you pick your final number will always be a multiple of 9. 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, or 81. Every single one of these numbers has the same correlating symbol assigned to it, they just rotate the symbols. Got any more brain busters?

In the example it says subtract 10. Not every time. You would only subtract 10 if the two digits of the number you picked equaled 10 when added together.
