Texting from cell's TO my pc, can this be done????

Does anyone know if there is a free program that will allow texting from cell phones to be received on my PC. I can text from the PC, but when I travel abroad & cell does not work I can't get replies. I have to wait until they get to a computer to email me back which takes forever.

    Thx

Yes, my cell has the chat feature i can use AIM, MSN and Yahoo.

Try that, i can reach anyone as long as they are logged onto their PC using the same chat.

Be careful. Depending on your provider some count each IM from your chat program as a text message.

The chat feature works, but everyone cell phone has a corresponding e-mail address (that's how the get the text messages). If you can configure a mail client on your PC to retrieve those messages you're golden.
