How much do bodybuilders make a year?
talked to a guy at my gym about how he has started competing and he said theres some good money in it.I didnt want to ask how much, but Im curious how much bodybuilders make a year?From top to bottom,the guys that compete not very often, average competitors, muscle mag cover guys and the legends?Just curious......

most "normal bodybuilders" don't make too much look at the earning from the olympia. Jay,Ronnie etc make alot of extra from ads for there companies. But the normal joe doesn't make any where near these guys

buy a gym, make it upscale, provide tanning, massage, lots of different classes, and food services for planned meals..

The very top 3 names in bodybuilding make over a million a year. Outside of that, between the top 5-10, they make a living, but when you get into the others, most of them work full time as trainers, and low end pro's even have 9-5 jobs

Yep, only the top guys are earning the big bucks. Endorsements, guest posing, seminars, books, fan clubs, etc. I believe Jay Cutler has made a good chunk of money in real estate and land development.
