Here in Georgia you can use a hand gun, as long as it has a 4 1/2" barrel. I have a Ruger Redhawlk 44 mag, that I hunt deer with, I wouldn't take a shot over 40 yards though.

Certain caliber and length handguns are legal for hunting here too.

some kid that lives in an apt. above my brother just blew his head off last week. It was his 21st birthday too, somebody(I thi nk his father) got him a handgun, he was trying to twirl it around in his hands all cool like, bam, thing went off and shot himself in the head.

wow that's moronic. I am VERY careful with guns because whenever I go shooting I feel like this evil side of me will possess my body and make me shoot myself or someone else - i know it sounds weird. Just like when I'm on top of a building I feel like I'm gonna jump off even though I would never do that so I'm extra careful. Does that make sense to anyone??

the most fun I ever had shooting with my shotgun was at dusk when it started to get dark I shot slugs and my barrel is short so a flame comes out like 6 feet - looks freakin awesome... my shoulder defintiely didn't feel too good though lol. It felt like I just finished a heavy set of front squats!

you hunt with a glock???? You're not allowed to here in America but I think that would be awesome. I would much rather hunt with a handgun than a rifle or shotgun - you have to get much closer and it would take much more skill.

I would have them checked out. If you have a gun that was used in a murder and you get busted with it then you get charged for murder. Or at least become a suspect

I never believe anything fosk says, but I have found guns at old houses before in the country and in barns before. It was standard practice to put guns in cupboards where I was born Cupboards will fit a rifle or two and I could see if it was an old enough house that they could have just left it. Example: alot times in the country the man of the house would die and the widow wouldn't care a thing about guns and forget to take them. I've even seen old lever actions that would be worth alot now just used as fence post by their owners years ago before they sky rocketed in price
