    ...and how to "re-size" pictures.

    Also, any way to make the pictures smaller (file size) so it won't take up the whole screen and take forever to download?

    Do I have to get my five year-old nephew to do this for me?

    If you don't have any extra programs, MS includes a picture manager in their office suite (assuming you have that). Cropping is easy there.

    The other thing to do is to change formats (e.g. jpeg compression).
