I am addicted to my sidekick. I use it for emails on the road, and AIM. Its so easy to communicate. Tmobile is ok, verizon's service is better imo

I think they're all roughly the same... Verizon does have the best coverage though (I was told this by a rival dealer). I have T-Mobile and they are fine to me. I used to have Sprint.. hated it... Then AT&T - loved it but then they got bought out by Cingular and I HATED them, so I stopped and went to T-mobile. I've been with them for about a year now and I am very satisfied. I would do a little homework online and visit everyone's site and see their plan rates and how much the phones are that you want. I think you have like 15 days to cancel a plan to get your money back if you aren't satisfied. At least that's with Verizon.
Anyway, it sounds like T-mobile or Verizon are going to be your best bets...

Thats mine, Its like a rock. I swear i've dropped it at least 25 times and it only has a couple of scratches. Service really depends on what state you're in go to the t mobile website. You can check the service in your area. Might help you make your decision

Cricket is the new and best company. Select from a few models and pay 45 dollars a month. That 45 dollars a month includes unlimited US long distance calls, text messaging, calls, etc.!!!

I have a T-mobile the bill is pretty cheap but the service is kinda crappy. My brother had a bunch of problems with getting false charges too so I dont know if I would go with them again.

Word to the wise about Verizon. There are other carriers you can get cheaper service from (like MetroPCS) that is STILL Verizon. A ton of carriers have "roaming agreements" with Verizon. i.e. MetroPCS uses Verizon's network for everything but billing. MetroPCS is CHEAPER than Verizon. If you use MetroPCS, you are using Verizon's infrastructure. MetroPCS is only reselling Verizon service as their own. MetroPCS also has unlimited everything for $50.00. They aren't allowed to "claim" Verizon because techincally they are their own network. They don't show coverage everywhere but select areas because it costs them more for you to roam on Verizon than their small private network. They have to pay Verizon to "roam" but they have to allow it. Myself, if I was buying a phone that I was responsible for, it would be a MetroPCS because I'm not paying Verizon $50.00 more than MetroPCS for the same shit.
p.s. CDMA technology (i.e. Verizon) costs more than any other technology because of the license to use CDMA. CDMA was developed and patented by Qualcomm. Qualcomm charges a heafty license fee to use their technology and it's passed on to the "consumer." A CDMA network costs 3 times as much to maintain and develop compared to GSM. That's why GSM networks can offer more for less.

I sent you PM. You should have waited another month (regardless of Christmas) cause some new stuff is coming out mid-January that you'll think is a lot better. KRAZR is last year's CES news. This years CES releases are alot more impressive.
FYI: CES = Consumer Electronics Show

Oh yeah, word on the street, although not 100% confirmed:
Apple is going to release a 5 inch wide screen 100 GB iPod that is bluetooth 2.0 (2.0 means 6 devices thru bluetooth at once) enabled at CES. I heard it's up for engineering awards, but nobody has seen the unit yet except CEA panelists who judge the engineering awards at CES. Incase you don't know, when Apple "announces" something, it's already available for order that same day on apple.com and will be on store shelves the next. If you want santa to bring you an iPOD for Christmas... I'd wait.

True-False
Whats your take on the Apple phone elvisinturn1? Rumors say that Cingular is gonna be the carrier, others are saying its gonna be unlocked.
And I've heard some negative things about the next release iPod due to the lack of productions with Nvidia and their decoding video chip...? Have you heard this?
Is video conferencing going to be with GSM networks?

No idea on the iPOD. If it's at CES, I'll see it in person and probably bring one home to play with. If it sucks, it goes on ebay.
Video conferencing will be on all networks sooner or later, but GSM will release it first using HSDPA. You can buy a GSM phone now that can do video conferencing that is actually a spin off of the RAZR. It's called the RAZR V3X which you can see here:
http://www.cellhut.com/productdetail.asp?ProductID=2085
If you get one, make sure it is a HSDPA version. The standard UMTS version sucks and will be out dated in the U.S. HSDPA is the next generation 3G.
