I might have made the biggest mistake with my money EVER!!!
call me a dumbazz if you will but i wanted to cash in on the playstation 3 ps3 craze on ebay, so what i did is i bought 10 60gb systems a couple weeks ago when the price on ebay was and still is in the pot (only a hundered or 2 over retail value)and i have recieved them all already! i was thinking that they will shoot up to a grand or $1,500 again the last week before christmas. but as of now the ps3 is selling for less everyday and its practically a week before christmas soon so i am pretty worried i am going to lose hundereds of dollars now! i have placed an ad in various papers this week for the same price i bought them for so maybe i can sell them or some of them and get more of my money back. if ebay sales go completely down the crapper which looks to be whats happening.

The PS3 seems to be a big flop as of right now. Hopefully a little closer to Christmas they might sell better?

Sony may be Betamaxed again...
Their saving grace may be that Disney signed up for Blue Ray discs as apposed to HD DVDs.
It's too close to call if it will sink or swim, imo.

i don't think you'll have any problem getting rid of them for what you paid. you still can't go buy them in a store so you'll be fine. imo WORST case scenario, you still end up making a few hundred dollars. that being said:
xbox > ps

Dude.... I have waited in line at 8:00am in the mall to get a stupid nintendo Wii, only to be foiled by the 16 year old female clerk, who gives the vouchers for the 9 incoming Wiis to her highschool friends.
If only that was the system you had for sale. Rats!
I would have invested in those babies. New wave technology.
Graphics as good as Xbox, but you are swinging ****ing clanking and chinking samuri swords!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and there's like......, Mario fishin'.....(?)
Hope all goes well.

my best buy right now has 6 and i was gonna buy them and sell them on ebay
untill i called my brother and he said not to do it cause its too late.
so my opinion is, if best buys have them for retail value, why the hell would someone buy them off ebay for $2-300 hundred more?
they wont.

Sony says PS3 manufacturing problems are all solved.
Sony says that it has ironed out its manufacturing snags and is now back on track to have one million PS3s "in the pipeline" by the December 31, 2006. According to Sony's PR head, David Karraker: "We will continue to utilise airfreight delivery for PlayStation 3 to assure a steady stream of systems for North American consumers through the end of the year."Muscle Asylum Project Athlete

I saw one of them in the store yesterday, the graphics are absolutely amazing, but **** I'm paying $600 for one. All the gaming systems are making their money off accessories now anyways. Hell, I was looking at the Xbox 360 no you cant just get the system. Now, you have to go get a retarded cooling fan for it, $40 or $50 a controller, $60 for games, $100 for a hard drive, by the time it's all said and done your into it for $1000

PS3 is getting its ass kicked. It's pretty bad when the 360 which has been out for over a year is more than doubling sales of the brand new PS3...
Nintendo Co. Ltd. sold 476,000 units of its new Wii video game console in the United States in November, more than twice the number of PlayStation 3s sold by rival Sony Corp., as the two consoles debuted mid-month, research group NPD said Friday.
Sony's PS3 sales came in at 197,000.
Microsoft Corp. sold 511,000 units of its Xbox 360 in November, according to NPD.

Just for the record, I'm not into video games and the games seem a rip. Shouldn't cost more than $10-$20 max

in light of carlos's new info and according to the laws of supply and demand i am prepared to offer you $200 for a PS3.

Worldwide is a different story though. PS3 has already out sold Xbox 360 in total sales in Japan. PS3 has been out a month, 360 has been out for over a year.
Sony just needs to get more games out there and it will sell just fine.

Tell me how you feel after you lose $30,000 in a business deal gone bad. That, my friend, is some pain.

If they're new in box... craig's list. Sell them for retail cost.
