If you don't think Scarface was reality based, we have a fundamental difference of perspective. And of course everyone is entitled to an opinion.

more great movies
Nice quotes from the movie magic, I just watched it again a few nights ago. Seems like alot of people here like The Godfather and/or The Shawshank Redemption. Two very good movies, here or some more to consider.
Alot of people here into gangster/mob movies might wanna check out "Once Upon a Time in America" Very good movie made in the mid-80s w/ Robert DeNiro and James Woods.
Also for those of you that like the Shawshank Redemption I would definately recommend Papillion. Maybe one of Steve Mcqueen's best performances, as well as Dustin Hoffman's.

i just saw The Good Shepard and thought it was terrible. 3 hours and they barely tied the plots together.

Those are all great films but really what is the hype with Scarface??? Does everyone like that film simply cause everyone is supposed to like that film?

Goodfellas is the only movie you need to own.
Saving P. R. is also great but I cant watch the very end because I get so choked up when Ryan of the present asks his wife if he was a good man. It just sums up so much for me when I think about my service and I wasnt even in any conflict
Resviour dogs was awesome too, along with pulp fiction.
BUT man goodfellas, fantastic.
