HOLY SHIT Im out of shape

God damn. Im just getting started with cardio again and today I did a exercise we always used to do back when I was wrestling.
You do one high jump and touch the ceiling with your hand, then drop down do one pushup and one situp, then repeate but do 2 of everything and then 3 ect up to 10 and back down to one again.

Well I got to 6 before I thought I was gonna puke. My legs feels like they are going to burst and my lungs are bleeding Why cant it be as eazy to get into shape as it is to get out of shape This is probably the worst shape I have been in since the time I was a real fatass. The coming weeks are going to hurt.

yea, thats not real fair, a glitch in the design, dam you god. i just got out of the army in Aug where i had to run 3-5 days a week between 3 and 8 miles. ive gotten a little bigger since i got out but i tried to run a week ago, when i first started out it felt like i had bricks tied to my feet, i made it about a 1/2 mile before i was dying. i like being big but im going to drop down to 215-220 and really train for endurance for a couple months.

i feel ur pain brother. every 2-3 months i have a rough time and loose a good 10 pounds i always feel and look weak and fat and not strong or muscular at all. i hate it. but then i strive my way back as fast as possible only to hit another barrier. best thing possible is try not to let it slow you down. good luck

same here, i was as heavy as 240 with smooth but visable abs but i was clumsy and my endurance sucked like hell. i just feel a lot better when im a little lighter but more athletic and agile and with very low bodyfat.

Oh how I can relate to you, I feel your pain. I'm really pushing myself to regain my past glory, not only do I have myself to worry about, now I have all the 'new year rezzies' using my favorite machines. Over the holiday, I fell on ice and jacked my neck hardcore, now I have that, I'm falling apart!

I can do my cardio (elipitcal/bike) without a problem. The problem comes when I play some hoop with friends or any other sport for that matter. The cardio workout between an elipitcal or bike and actually running hard kicks my arse BIG TIME.

Me 2. I thought I was in decent shape, but since I started my military training, I'm getting my ass kicked.

Hopefully in the new year I'll be able to pick up alittle more speed and stamina in my running.
