Absolutely right! In that price range, that's exactly what I would get. I totaled my old infiniti - early 90s model - so I'm jealous! Some day I'm gonna replace it with another infiniti - G35 6 spd! Great choice man!

i have an 04 g35 coupe...I love it.the new (o8) g35 coupe will be out next summer.. I also love the new (o7) g35 4 door. for the money I dont see how it can be beat...it depends on what you are looking for really... any car in that class is nice.. g35 lexus is350(HOT CAR) Audi a4 you could obviously put the 3 series Bmer in there...but I am not big on bmers anymore..

Thanks...I just took it on a 400mile road trip & it was great...cruisin between 80-85mph the whole way...slight accelleration would bump it up to 100 easy to pass people..glad i got the g35 as opposed to the 350z...the back seat isnt huge by any stretch....but its big enough for more stuff..couldnt imagine a straight up 2 seater...I'll be hittin the road again from NY to FLA so I'll let ya know how that goes...should be a piece of cake..

I would go for a truck. Yukon Denali or a Tahoe LTZ or even a Escalade.

We have a Denali now and I love it, but next vehicle will be a 4WD truck with a short bed and an extended cab. The wifey will get the Denali, but I need a truck for work purposes.

I had an R32 which was hella fun, but I am pretty much done with little cars and sport cars.

I test drove a G35 not to long ago, I was not too impressed, frankly because it didnt have enough torque for my likings. But I also use to American muscle, so finding that kind of torque in an import will be difficult without spending $50,000+

yeah, that G35 is very nice, I was just thinking you could get something that you don't see a lot of. I've seen quite a few G35s driving around but I very rarely see a Porsche 911 (most porsches I ever see are Boxters) and I've only seen one Cadillac XLR ever. IMO, the porsche hasn't changed much over the last 8 years, so if you got a used porsche people would think it's brand new and DUDE, YOU HAVE A PORSCHE! you know... whereas you have a G35 and people are like oh that's cool. Just my .02

Man, I see the Cadillac XLR multiple times a day. It could be because I'm in Michigan but that car is extremely popular here. I'm surprised it's not more popular all over. My parents had one a year ago but got rid of it. I would borrow it to cruise around on a nice day but I would never buy one because it doesn't seem to be meant for anyone taller than 5'10". I'm 6'0"-6'1" and it was a little uncomfortable.
